Te Whakawhirinaki Kete - The Beginning!
Tēnā Koutou Katoa, nau mai hāere mai ki tēnei kaupapa!
2020 has definitely been a trial! Navigating one challenge after another, we’ve realised there is no hub for the arts community to access hauora or wellness resources, tailored for us, by us.
So! Taurima Vibes is working to gather thoughts, experiences and ideas to develop a new resource kete to support the health and wellbeing for whānau working in the creative sector in Aotearoa.
Since Covid, everyone has been inundated with multiple surveys and we’re all feeling pretty fatigued right? With that in mind we have tried to make this as accessible and easy as possible. If you are a survey geek please just click the link and respond away! 😊
You can access the survey link here - https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CXLBKMY
Working alongside Able and John Lacey, we have also provided this video with captioning and audio narration for the use of people with disabilities, or those who would simply like to engage with a human face.
Here, you have the option to follow the survey as one of our whānau reads the questions to you with our kaupapa in mind.
For those of you who find it easier to speak to someone, please feel free to call or text on 0212667260 (Calling rates are subject to your provider). One of our team will guide you through the survey and record your responses.
The answers you bring to this korero will ultimately help mould our final koha to the community, Te Whakawhirinaki Kete - a national centre for hauora based support.
We would be really grateful to hear from you by Friday 7th August 2020, but will accept all answers received past this date.
If you have any access needs which require tools or support to complete this survey, please feel free to contact us and we will find a way to ensure your participation.
Please feel free to forward this to friends and colleagues working in the arts community and encourage them to participate.
Ngā mihi nui
